Holiday Villas - What to Bring
When renting a luxury holiday villa, there are a couple of things you should bring with you to make the most of your holiday.

Your Peace of Mind is important. When bringing family, friends and yourself on holiday, make every effort to ensure that you have the correct holiday travel insurance. Accidents can happen, be prepared. There are various travel insurance providers worldwide, a search on google with keyword 'travel insurance' will give you many options.

Sun Tan Lotion - Never underestimate the importance of this. Many visitors to Cyprus suffer from third degree burns because of the sun. We suggest that you bring the maximum strength sun cream and work your way down as you get more and more used to the sun.

Sun glasses are equally important. Conditions in the summer are favourable for over 12 hours of sunshine throughout the day. aMake sure your eyes are protected!

Linen is not essential for the villa or apartment as these are provided, although beach towels are not provided.

Maps to tourist attractions and major stop off points are provided in a welcome pack that is in the villa or apartment when you arrive. Additional material is available from your nearest Cyprus Tourism Organisation office. Cyprus is steeped in history, try to enjoy as much of it as you can while you are here, there is much more to Cyprus that sun and food.

Greek dictionaries? Not required unless you want to make a concerted effort to pick up some of the lingo. English is very widely spoken, many of the residents in Cyprus who came from abroad do not speak Greek themselves.

What about money? While most of the major tourist establishments accept credit cards, we do advise bringing hard cash along with you. You can alternatively withdraw funds from your accounts overseas through the cash machines in Cyprus. There are numerous foreign exchange shops on the main tourist strips should you need to change your local currency.

...and of course never forget your passport and drivers license of hiring a car.

If possible bring your mobile phone, you can always reach us if you get stuck. There are pay as you go options in Cyprus as well if your mobile phone is not locked in your country of residence.
