CYPRUS - PAPHOS AIRPORT
Paphos International Airport opened in 1983 and is located 9 miles
(15km) south- east of the city centre and is well service by road links
to all major resorts in the region..
The one terminal at Paphos Airport is served by several charter
airlines. Facilities in the terminal at Paphos include banks and a
bureau de change, with the bureau also offering limited banking
facilities. There is a small duty free shop and newspapers and reading
materials are available at the newsagents located in the terminal
building.
The café at Paphos Airport gets busy and serves only fast food and
snacks. Snacks are also available at the newsagent/convenience store,
while full meals are served in the restaurant and bar. Paphos Airport
also has a free supervised nursery, as well as a medical and first-aid
centre. There are special facilities for handicapped travellers
including wheelchair access throughout the terminal, as well as
specially adapted washrooms.
